What Sellers Can Expect

Selling your home is so much more than putting a sign in the yard and waiting for the phone to ring.  It is a process that starts long before that sign goes up.  Sally holds your hand through the steps of selling your home in order to help you get the best prices and terms that you can.

Step 1 - Preview: Sally will make an appointment to come and preview your home.  This will allow her to see the condition of your home and experience the neighborhood.  She will also outline the type of marketing you can expect when you list your home with her.

Step 2 - Information Gathering: Sally will begin to gather information and will provide you with detailed valuation information.  Together, we’ll determine your home’s worth and develop a marketing strategy to get the best purchase price possible.

Step 3 Staging of Your Home:  The way we live in our homes is not the same as when we sell the home.  Sally will make recommendations large and small to maximize your home’s perceived value and to show it off to its best advantage.

Step 4 Professional Photography:   Sally hires a professional photographer to come in and capture your home in the best possible light.  There are also other products available such as virtual tours, floor plans, and drone photography that may be used in order to market your home to the largest audience.

Step 6  Promote, Promote, Promote:  After your listing goes live, not only will your home be on national sites such as Zillow, Realtor.com, and Trulia but it will automatically populate in buyer's inboxes looking for a home just like yours.  There will also be a digital marketing campaign that puts ads in front of potential buyers online.

Step 7 Feedback and Refinement:  Sally will provide feedback from agents showing the property as it is received.  She will also have a set time each week to discuss your listing and how the process is going.  She will also monitor the market to ensure we still have the best positioning in the neighborhood.

Step 8 Negotiation, Escrow and Inspection:  This is where Sally works to ensure the best possible terms of a contract, helps you negotiate repairs with the buyer, and keeps the balls juggling to get you to closing.  Sally's superpower is communication so you'll always have the best information to make great decisions throughout the process.
